- How is this different from AI background removal?
- The magic wand selects by color similarity — instant, fully local and precisely controllable. On solid backgrounds it matches AI results; for complex scenes like hair, AI tools do better.
- Why did the background turn white after exporting JPEG?
- JPEG has no alpha channel, so deleted areas are filled white. Export PNG or WebP to keep transparency.
- Can I change an ID photo background color?
- Yes: remove the original color with the wand, export transparent PNG, then place any new background underneath in your favorite editor.
