Watermark ID Documents & Photos
Free · No sign-up · Images never uploaded
Banks, carriers and landlords keep asking for photos of your ID. Adding a tiled watermark stating the purpose (e.g. "For X Bank account opening only") makes the copy useless anywhere else. The watermark is composited entirely in your browser — sensitive documents are never uploaded, which is exactly how ID photos should be handled.
Open the tool →How to use
- Drop in the document photo and enable "Watermark" in the panel
- Type the purpose text (e.g. "For X verification only"), choose tiled mode, adjust angle, size and opacity
- Gray or red text at 45°, tiled across the whole image, works best — visible but still readable. Then download
FAQ
- What should the watermark say?
- State who it is for, the purpose and the date, e.g. "For X Bank, account opening, 2026-07". Tile it across the entire image so cropping cannot remove it.
- Is it safe to put my ID through a website?
- Here, yes — the image only exists in your browser memory. Nothing is uploaded or stored; the tool even works offline (PWA).
- Can I add copyright watermarks too?
- Sure — enter your name or URL, choose a corner position or full tiling, and tune angle and opacity freely.
